Fulfilment update - US & EU

The big news this week -
EU fulfilment will be completed by the end of next week. That means everything will have left the warehouse and be with the couriers! Keep an eye out for your tracking emails!
US fulfilment is starting! Keep an eye out for your tracking email as everything is starting to leave the warehouses! The other great news is that our third shipment has now reached the warehouse so there won't be a delay for any backers.

Now we are approaching completion for this project Matt and I wanted to thank you for your patience. Shipping in particular is very challenging at the moment, and while we are thrilled to be able to get the books out a month ahead of the published schedule, we always regarded December as our "worst case" fulfilment date and we know it has been a long wait!

Beyond the Blue Nebula
As we fast approach the launch of our Sci-Fi map kickstarter Beyond the Blue Nebula we'd like to show off something a little "darker". We've been having fun making "nightmare" versions of some of our ships to use with some of the excellent horror sci-fi RPGs out there.
And finally we just wanted to make sure you didn't miss our latest free map! This Messier Shuttle title is a set of over 30 files that we have released free on DriveThruRPG to celebrate the upcoming Kickstarter!
And just to say we're planning a couple of Kickstarters for 2022 which will be fantasy based RPG products!

EU Fulfilment Update - Starting Today!

EU Fulfilment has begun!
We have just had the great news that our EU hub have pulled out all the stops to get this project out ASAP and they are starting fulfilment today!
They have sent me some pictures of our books safety packed up and ready to go! And I'm very pleased to say we're using recycled packaging as well! That protective fill has been made using old cardboard boxes in the warehouse.
So keep an eye out for your tracking email!

We hope to have a further update for our US & Canada Backers next week. We are still waiting for a delivery date for our third shipping container, however the warehouses are going to get started with the stock they have.
This means some backers will get their rewards before others and fulfilment will take longer than usual to complete I am afraid. This delay has been caused by the delays and challenges in international shipping and moving containers overland in the US which we have been unable to avoid I am afraid.
This Kickstarter will combine space ships, bases, starscapes, space stations and alien worlds with a tile & token pack to build your own maps or customise ours!
We're going live on November 16 and you can follow the project to be notified on launch!
Our future plan still includes a physical Sci-Fi map book set, however global challenges and increased costs across the board mean this is not a viable project for us at the moment. The Sci-Fi market is smaller than that for fantasy map products and that makes it harder to absorb the increased production & shipping costs.
We hope this map set helps all the Sci-Fi RPGers with the wait and helps us get more Sci-Fi RPG followers to help us make that book set a reality in the future!

This is actually a pack with multiple maps and tokens included that cover the exterior, flight deck and cargo deck of the smallest ship we've made using our Sci-Fi assets.

The latest fulfilment situation is as follows
UK - complete!
Australia - complete (there were 7 orders where we had to ship extra stock from the UK but everyone else should have their rewards).
Asia - Everything is out/going out now (You can check status via the VFI Hub page - look for 'The Wilderness Book').
EU - Shipment has reached the warehouse! Its super busy right now thanks to Black Friday and Xmas so we'll be processed when our slot comes up.
USand Canada - 2 of the 3 shipments are in the warehouses. The third is still in transit. We have asked the warehouses to begin fulfilment, however we will not be able to complete until the third shipment arrives. These hubs are also rather busy due to the time of year!

The latest fulfilment situation is as follows
Asia - Ongoing
Australia & NZ - Complete
UK - Complete
EU - Stock processing through the port
US & Canada - Processing the data prior to shipping
Of the 3 US ships, 1 is in the queue for Savannah port, 2 have docked and unloaded and we are just transporting the books through the ports and to the warehouses (this can take a little while currently, further updates will follow).

Looking ahead to our next Kickstarter
As I suspect you are all aware of to some extent, globally there are shipping and supply issues which we need to work with. In our case we have had to re-arrange our Kickstarter plans a little.
What that means for Loke Battle Mats is that our next Kickstarter planned for the end of 2021 will be a digital maps Kickstarter - Beyond the Blue Nebula.
This will be a collection of huge sci-fi battle maps for VTT and/or print at home and an epic pack of tiles/tokens. The designs will include space stations, multi level ships as well as alien worlds and starscapes.
The tiles/tokens will include modular ship & space station parts so you can build & furnish your own maps!
These maps will be VTT ready and compatible with all the usual platforms (Roll20, Foundry etc).
The beautiful thing about working digitally is that in these times of delays, we know we'll be able to get these maps our very quickly and share our awesome maps with you! We can also work at a much larger scale, and really go to the next level in terms of not only our map designs, but also the tools we can share to help you make your own beautiful maps!

An update on how fulfilment is going -
UK & Rest of World - GamesQuest have processed all pledges. Keep an eye out for your tracking email and parcels!
EU - Shipment is clearing customs en-route to the warehouse.
US and Canada - 2 of the 3 ships have arrived and stock is going through customs then will be en-route to the fulfilment warehouse. This journey is likely to take a little time as Ports are super busy right now.
Asia - VFI have begun and fulfilment is ongoing.
Australia and NZ - We await our turn via Aetherworks, everything is ready to go.
